The grapes with which Guelbenzu Vierlas is made come from the La Lombana estate, in Vierlas, which has soils composed of gravel and sand and where vines grow with an average age of 20 years.
The bunches ferment for around 12 days in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures and the resulting wine is aged for six months in barrels of which 30% are French oak and 70% are American oak.
