Overnight, the top wine from the Remirez de Ganuza winery in Rioja Alavesa, with 22 months in new French oak barrels and a limited production of 12,000 bottles.
Trasnocho is made with 90% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano, 5% Viura and Malvasía from vineyards with an average age of 60 years located in the towns of Samaniego, Leza, Elciego, San Vicente and Laguardia. A powerful and very broad wine, a delight for the senses.
Trasnocho is made with an innovative system created by the winery: they put a food PVC bag inside the deviated tank, fill it with water and squeeze the skins, thus releasing 70% of the wine that they still contain. This procedure, so simple but at the same time so special, avoids friction between the skins and oxidation of the wine, with which we extract the virtues and not the defects.
