Beryna, red wine coupage of Monastrell and Garnacha made by Bodegas Vinessens, under the D.O. Alicante.
Beryna is a blend of 80% Monastrell and 20% Grenache from vines, between 15 and 50 years old planted at 700-750 meters above sea level.
In Beryna, in both varieties, both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are carried out separately, after which it remains 12 months in French oak barrels and 4 racking takes place, and it is in the third racking when the two varieties are blended.
