Balbás Crianza, red wine with 18 months of aging produced by Bodegas Balbás under the DO Ribera del Duero
Balbás Crianza is made with 90% Tempranillo grapes and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 18 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle before being presented in the market.
Intense cherry color with violet edges, the nose highlights the aroma of vanilla and toasted wood, with hints of green pepper typical of the Cabernet Sauvignon. A silky red and soft step that runs along the palate leaving a long and above all very elegant finish.
Bodegas Balbás dates from 1777 and a couple of centuries later since its inception it was one of the founding wineries of the DO Ribera del Duero.
