Balbás Barrica is made with 100% Tempranillo grapes from the small town of La Horra, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. Balbás Barrica is aged for 5 months in American oak barrels, giving a smooth, fresh and balanced wine.
Bodegas Balbás dates from 1777 and a couple of centuries later since its inception it was one of the founding wineries of the DO Ribera del Duero.
