Biftu comes from old vines of Bobal, with an average age of 55 years, planted in vase on clay-limestone soil with gravel in the subsoil and sandy loam.
Biftu Bobal is aged for 5 months in 225-liter European oak barrels (French-Hungarian) with toasted media. It came with an exuberant nose and full in floral nuances, ripe plums and mineral background, soft on the palate and a certain sweet touch, good acidity.
